Sri Vidya Mandir Association, Salem, is founded by the great philanthropist of Salem, aiming at a qualitative education with all round development of a child. It's motto is to do service without any profit motive. With these ideas, Sri Vidya Mandir Association established the following schools.

All above Schools are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
All the schools are co-educational institutions and the medium of instruction is English. The notable features
of all the Association schools are the impressive buildings, vast playgrounds, well equipped laboratories,
sophisticated computer centres, language labs and libraries.
In addition to the above facilities, Sri Vidya Mandir Sr.Sec.School at Shivaji Nagar has meditation centre
called "Pavithralaya" and a multipurpose Hall named "Vidya Hall". During the Silver Jubilee year (1996) Smt.
Narasus Vasanthasarathy Indoor Stadium for Indoor games and Gymnastics and "Arunachalam" Open air auditorium
were inaugurated.
Significant progress have been made since the inception of these schools by the efficient staff through
excellent academic achievements and registered All india records in C.B.S.E. Examinations.
Though the medium of instruction is English, other languages like Sanskrit, Hindi and Tamil are also
offered in all Association Schools. Mother language and Regional language are given equal importance.
All Schools aim at maintaining high standard in Mathematics, Science and Social Science, Apart
from academic work, emphasis is laid on extra-curricular activities. Training in Carnatic Music, Mirudhangam,
Dance & other Musical Instruments are also given on optional basis. Special effort is taken to coach Karate
and Gymnastics. Typewriting, Tailoring and computer education are also offered to the children of our schools.
Physical and Health Education, Work experience and Art Education are the subjects considered for
internal assessment.
